I will say that Aisling seems a little bit too bossy at times and considering she’s just found herself plopped into the Otherworld, it’s a little unrealistic how well she takes control of various situations. This was a really fun and lighthearted Urban Fantasy and I enjoyed it a lot. But once there she finds it quite literally impossible to leave and she must solve a murder case herself in order to get herself out of the line of fire. Aisling ventures to Paris as a courier in order to deliver a very expensive package. You Slay Me follows Aisling Grey into a world that she never thought really existed, but a world she’s very much apart of as a Guardian - whether she likes it or not. Now Drake has stolen the package Aisling was sent to deliver, and she must track him down, get the package, and try to resist the passion boiling inside her. She finds this out from Drake Vireo, who’s scrumptiously sexy-at least in his human form. That’s a keeper of the Gates of Hell, for those who don’t know.
